According to Notification onstandards of annual fees and individual designation fees for design patents by NationalDevelopment and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Ministry of Finance (PriceReformation No. [2022]465), and relevant provisions of Hague AgreementConcerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs (hereinafterreferred to as Hague Agreement), the CNIPA will implement the new standards ofannual fees and individual designation fees for design patents as from May 5,2022. Details are as following:

I.        The annual fee standard for designpatents for the 11th to 15th year is RMB 3000 per year.

II.       The individual designation feestandard (RMB) is:

l  1^st period (1^st -5^th years) RMB 4100,

l  2^nd period (6^th -10^th years)RMB 7600,

l  3^rd period (11^th -15^th years)RMB 15000.

In accordance with relevantprovisions of Hague Agreement, for any application and renewal of theinternational registration of industrial designs designating China through theHague Agreement, the applicant shall pay the individual designation fees in accordancewith those determined by the CNIPA and the WIPO in CHF conversion price, whichwill be posted on the CNIPA website separately.
